The research project E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S. The innovative prototype of eco-sustainable microcar, until now only imagined, has become a real, running and completely eco-sustainable vehicle!

E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S., is a particularly innovative project, aimed at creating an Electric, Innovative, Modular and Sustainable Microcar for urban micro mobility, which involved Techno DESIGN for about two years together with the University of Campania - Luigi Vanvitelli, the Company Trafil Production srl and the body shop Nuova San Leonardo srl.

The E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S. aimed to define an "advanced concept of urban vehicle" ecological in materials and manufacturing processes, aligned with the strictest parameters of active and passive safety, respectful of regulations, comfortable for the entire user population, versatile for configuration and above all innovative in the set-up and configuration processes.

At the end of the project, the full-scale demonstration prototype of the vehicle was created, with unique features:

The design is highly innovative: the microcar is completely symmetrical. This allows you to place the internal elements more easily, and prepares the prototype for the development of further implementations for the activation of driverless travel modes.
The structure is modular and flexible in both assembly and disassembly, thanks also to the use of fully recyclable materials for the load-bearing frame, bodywork and interior.
Its versatile and modular frame is designed to accommodate technology and mechanics in an "adaptive" and non-invasive way, using hooks with simplified and reversible connections (threaded connections or joints) and not permanent ones (welds) used in production traditional automobile.
It has electric propulsion equipped with an innovative solution, achieved through the ad-hoc development of high-potential conductors, which allows it to maximize both energy savings and running performance.
